FEMALE BASE BODY
The Female Base Body the we had been using at CIG was in need of a redo. Having simulated a lot of female assets in the past, I knew that there were lots of issues on the current base body that made simulations unrealistic/ sort of unappealing. We needed something that would work better for simulation right out Maya and/or Zbrush, without artists having to change proportions etc. to get a realistic simulation. On top of that we hoped to work with the tech team to readjust where certain joints are so that we could get more pleasing animations, particularly in the shoulder/ hip areas. So in the end, I completely redid the entire body from the sculpt and up, but kept the geometry of the feet and hands relatively intact. I project and added to the existing textures, and complete re-projected higher resolution ones in some areas. New base under garments were also created.
